Client Manager

Are you passionate about building meaningful client relationships and delivering exceptional service? We’re looking for a Client Manager to join our Distribution team, supporting Client Directors and helping us provide high‑quality solutions to our institutional clients. This is a great opportunity to take ownership of client interactions, contribute to business development, and play a key role in mentoring colleagues within a collaborative and supportive environment. This role is within our UK team working on Defined Benefit Pension Scheme Clients.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Developing strong and trusted relationships with clients, acting as a key point of contact in the absence of Client Directors
  • Co‑ordinating and resolving client enquiries by working closely with teams across the business
  • Providing technical support and insights to help clients make informed decisions
  • Identifying and progressing sales leads and opportunities to support revenue growth
  • Mentoring team members and supporting their development
  • Reviewing and signing off draft instructions for colleagues and peers
  • Attending client meetings, calls and taking ownership of audit or operational discussions when needed
  • Preparing tailored materials for client meetings, pitches and ongoing servicing

Who we’re looking for:

  • Strong investment knowledge and understanding of institutional products and markets
  • Experience delivering high‑quality client service within investment management or a related industry
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills with confidence engaging senior stakeholders
  • Ability to manage varied workflows and prioritise effectively
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide meaningful insight
  • Excellent IT skills and experience preparing high‑quality written materials
  • A proactive, organised approach with the ability to show initiative
  • Ability to mentor colleagues and contribute to a collaborative team culture
