JOB PURPOSE

 

As a Client Lead within DEPT® you obtain and maintain the relationship with our clients. You can build solid and strong relationships, as you are an effective communicator. A person that is able to orchestrate, navigate and lead the challenges and opportunities of our clients. Someone who is curious, who listens to learn and dares to ask. A real conversation starter and team player with a strong sense of responsibility in shaping commercial healthy and delivery ready proposals, to solve the challenges of our clients, today.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Champion the client internally — act as their advocate within DEPT®, challenging teams to stay focused on solving the client’s most important problems while ensuring quality and timely delivery.
  • Take full ownership of the client’s business challenges, especially those of the CMO, developing a deep understanding of their strategic and commercial priorities.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with C-suite stakeholders, influencing decisions and driving long-term impact.
  • Approach every opportunity with a business-first mindset, focusing on delivering measurable results and driving client growth.
  • Demonstrate a full understanding of DEPT®’s capabilities and offerings, applying them to solve complex client challenges and coaching teams to do the same.
  • Act as the architect who brings together the right people, disciplines, and solutions to create cohesive, strategic approaches for each client.
  • Leverage deep industry expertise to understand competitive landscapes, audience behaviors, and cross-market opportunities.
  • Be proactive and transparent — identify growth opportunities, resolve challenges quickly, and maintain trust through open communication.
  • Bring energy, curiosity, and drive — ask the right questions, challenge assumptions, and inspire teams to go further for the client.
  • Ensure seamless communication and reporting, coordinating internal teams effectively and delivering clear progress updates to stakeholders

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

 

  • Have 5+ years of digital agency experience and a proven track record in a similar commercial client facing role. 
  • Experience with Client Management in relation to end-to-end digital solution/platform delivery.
  • Have a solid understanding of the overall dynamics of the digital industry and digital product delivery process;
  • Understands how strategy, design, technology and data are essential to deliver impactful and valuable digital products / experiences. 
  • Have a strong communication, listening and interpersonal skills in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels;
  • Understands the commercial dynamics of a digital agency. 
  • Are someone who is able to “connect-the-dots” across channels and touchpoints internally as externally;
  • Have a strong work ethic and the willingness to get the job done while maintaining a supportive, empowering and positive attitude;
  • Embrace thought-leadership by staying up-to-date on industry news, technology trends and best practices;
  • Have solid written and verbal communication skills.
