Client Funds Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Client Funds Specialist to manage and oversee client financial accounts within a nonprofit or nursing home setting. The ideal candidate will have experience handling Social Security and Representative Payee (Rep Payee) accounts to ensure compliance with financial regulations while providing excellent service to clients. This is a contract to hire. Responsibilities:
  • Manage and monitor client funds, ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance with financial regulations.
  • Oversee Social Security Representative Payee (Rep Payee) accounts, ensuring funds are used appropriately for client needs.
  • Process and track client deposits, withdrawals, and disbursements while maintaining accurate ledgers.
  • Reconcile financial records, resolve discrepancies, and prepare financial reports as required.
  • Communicate with Social Security Administration (SSA), Medicaid, and other relevant agencies regarding client benefits and financial matters.
  • Assist clients and their families in understanding their financial accounts and answering any related inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding client funds management.
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as accounting, social services, and compliance teams to ensure seamless financial operations.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and ethical standards when handling sensitive financial information.
  • Assist in developing and improving financial management policies and procedures.
