Cleaning Operative

LOCATION: CASTLEPOINT SHOPPING CENTRE

WORKING HOURS: 40 HOURS PER WEEK

SHIFT PATTERN: MON/THU/FRI/SAT/SUN

PAY RATE: £12.36 PER HOUR

Main Duties & Responsibilities:   

This role may include a variety of tasks but specifically:  

 · To carry out various cleaning duties and to support the trolley collection team when required.  

· To always wear laundered company uniform so that Castlepoint Shopping Park’s’ reputation for professionalism and quality is never compromised.  

· To ensure that all duties carried out are strictly in accordance with our standards & policies so that quality work is delivered meeting/exceeding our expectations.  

· To ensure that all work undertaken is strictly carried out in accordance with Castlepoint & ABM’s Health and Safety policies & procedures. Moreover, to demonstrate their commitment to the fact that each Castlepoint/ABM employee has a personal responsibility for their own health and safety and for that of persons who may be affected by their acts/or omissions.  

· Whilst at work to effectively assist with the public in a friendly & professional manner. 

· To carry out your duties as directed by the Supervisor. Moreover, to always consider the work undertaken and wherever opportunities for improvements to working practices exist, putting forward suggestions so that ‘continuous improvement’ is the norm.  

· To work in a proactive manner, supporting/assisting colleagues whenever in a position to do so.  

· To undertake ad hoc duties as directed/ operationally required.

To ensure exemplary standards in the service provided at Castlepoint Shopping Park and customer service to the public are always delivered. Fellow colleagues are supported and assisted so that teamwork thrives. 

The post holder will be hardworking and committed to ensuring the highest standards are always adhered to. Professional always and proactively interacting with the public as required. A good team player.  

Essential:  

Good communication skills both verbal and written.  

Excellent customer care skills  

Smart Clean Appearance – well-groomed always 

Totally committed to high standards & quality 

Full UK driving licence
