Civil Engineer (OpenRoads Experience) | Permanent WFH

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Engineer with a strong background in highway and roadway design. With at least 5 years of professional experience, the ideal candidate will bring both technical expertise and real-world project experience to our growing team.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D is essential, while familiarity with OpenRoads is a strong advantage. This role offers the opportunity to work on impactful infrastructure projects that shape how communities move and grow.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and develop roadway and highway plans in compliance with local, regional, and national standards
• Create detailed engineering drawings and models using Civil 3D and AutoCAD
• Prepare plans, profiles, cross-sections, and construction documents
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including planners, surveyors, and contractors
• Conduct site assessments and provide technical support during construction phases
• Coordinate with project managers to ensure deadlines, budgets, and design standards are met
• Assist in the preparation of reports, specifications, and cost estimates

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Licensed Civil Engineer
• At least 5 years of experience in civil engineering, specifically with highway or roadway projects
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Experience or familiarity with OpenRoads Designer is preferred but not required
• Strong understanding of roadway design standards and transportation engineering principles
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Amenable to work during U.S. working hours
