Fraport Greece is currently looking to hire a caliber Civil Engineer, in the Maintenance Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring the overall implementation of the 14 Airport’s civil facilities and preventive and corrective maintenance activities, providing input for the preparation, monitoring, and control of the civil maintenance budget, implementing assigned projects relevant to engineering facilities and systems and ensuring the proper and on time implementation of the Civil Department’s standard tasks (grass-cutting, derubberization, drainage channel cleaning, etc) .

What you will be doing:

  • Support the overall implementation of civil facilities/ preventive and corrective maintenance activities according to Preventive Maintenance Plan, with respect to the available budget funds.
  • Provide input for the preparation, monitoring and control of the civil engineering maintenance budget.
  • Cooperate with Airport Engineers in the process of requesting offers from the contractors.
  • Provide technical support remotely to Airports in cooperation with the Engineers of Clusters A & B and local Maintenance team to resolve any issues.
  • Participate in meetings with various contractors.
  • Perform the Verification of invoicing by the contractors and specialized subcontractors
  • Support in preparing ad-hoc and regular technical reports and presentations per corporate requirements on section’s activities.
  • Contribute to the implementation of assigned projects and tasks relevant to facilities and systems, with respect to the set deadlines and quality standards.

Requirements

Experience & Qualifications:

  • MSc or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of previous working experience in facility management, including maintenance of large infrastructures, preferably in transportations system (airport, motorway, port, rail etc).
  • Previous professional working experience of at least one year of in concession contract project, would be appreciated.
  • Member of the Greek Technical Chamber.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and preferably competency in AutoCAD.
  • Fluency in Greek and English (oral and written at a professional corporate level).
  • Fulfilled military obligations (if appropriate).
