LaBella Associates is looking for an entry level Engineer to join our Civil Division in our Buffalo, NY office.

Job Duties

  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, project managers and technical experts on a broad spectrum of projects, encompassing everything from large utility infrastructure projects and athletic fields to land development work and higher education facilities.
  • Development of detailed construction drawings and specifications.
  • Office based support performing construction phase submittal reviews and field change documents as needed
  • Perform with site inspections during construction.
  • Perform and prepare technical analysis documents, engineering calculations and design reports.

Salary Range: $63,000 - $78,000 per year

The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.

Requirements

  • B.S. degree in civil engineering or related field experience.
  • 0 to 5 years of progressive civil engineering experience with a focus on land development design.
  • EIT or the ability to obtain within 12 months. • AutoCAD basic drafting capability.
  • Proficient in Microsoft productivity suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate efficiently with teammates in different disciplines.
  • Drivers license required
  • Possess a high capacity for self-motivation and be able to apply engineering knowledge to a variety of projects. Ability and willingness to receive and understand instructions/guidance and complete tasks independently.
  • Ability to travel to different work sites as needed.
