What You'll Own

Take on civil engineering projects across a diverse portfolio — land development, site design, municipal infrastructure, drainage systems, and transportation work
Support and eventually lead technical deliverables including grading and drainage design, utility coordination, stormwater management, permitting, and construction documentation
Coordinate between clients, project engineers, and contractors during construction phases, keeping projects on schedule and within budget
Contribute to grant writing, permit applications, and regulatory submittals as project needs dictate
Grow project ownership and client-facing responsibility as your experience develops — this is a firm that builds engineers over time, not just fills seats

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a closely related engineering discipline
2–6 years of experience in a civil engineering role; candidates closer to the 3–5 year mark are the sweet spot, though strong entry-level applicants will be considered
Experience in land development is a genuine differentiator here — site design, grading, utilities, entitlements — but it is not a hard requirement
EIT certification or active pursuit of PE licensure is a plus
Candidates with 10+ years of experience are likely overqualified for this role and will not be a strong fit
Ability to work fully onsite, five days a week, in the Greater Toledo area — this is not a remote or hybrid position
