Civil Engineer

We are seeking a motivated Civil Engineer with land development experience to join a growing engineering team in Orlando, FL. This full-time, in-office role is ideal for a professional with at least two years of experience in civil site design who is looking to expand technical expertise and take on increasing project responsibility.

This position offers hands-on involvement in residential, commercial, industrial, and resort-style development projects throughout the Central Florida region. The Civil Engineer will play a key role in utility design, grading and drainage planning, and coordination with local municipalities and regulatory agencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design water distribution, sanitary sewer, and stormwater management systems for land development projects
  • Prepare detailed grading and drainage plans, including ICPR 4 stormwater modeling
  • Support site development for residential subdivisions, commercial centers, industrial facilities, and resort properties
  • Coordinate with local municipalities, permitting agencies, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with Florida standards
  • Provide technical guidance to CAD designers and junior staff on site development assignments
  • Manage multiple active projects while maintaining schedules, budgets, and deliverables
  • Communicate effectively with clients, architects, consultants, and internal project teams
  • Assist with preparation of engineering reports, technical documentation, and project presentations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent civil design experience
  • Minimum 2+ years of civil engineering or civil site design experience
  • Experience with grading, drainage design, and stormwater management systems
  • Proficiency in ICPR 4 modeling
  • Strong understanding of land development design principles and permitting processes
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional and confident client interaction abilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AutoCAD / Civil 3D
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (P.E.) license (preferred but not required)

  • Full-Time
  • Monday–Friday | 8-hour shifts
