Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Design Engineer to join our engineering and infrastructure development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering and a proven track record in the design and analysis of buildings, bridges, or civil infrastructure projects. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop safe, sustainable, and cost-effective structural solutions from concept through construction. This position features hybrid flexibility.
Responsibilities:
Perform structural analysis and design for a variety of infrastructure projects, including commercial buildings, bridges, transportation systems, and public works.
Develop detailed design drawings, specifications, and calculations in accordance with applicable codes and standards (e.g., AISC, ACI, ASCE, IBC).
Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and construction teams to ensure design intent is realized.
Utilize engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, or ETABS for design and modeling.
Review and validate contractor submittals, shop drawings, and field reports during the construction phase.
Conduct site visits and inspections to evaluate existing structures or to oversee ongoing construction.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, permitting requirements, and industry standards.
Contribute to project planning, scheduling, and budgeting activities.
Prepare technical reports, design justifications, and documentation for stakeholders and regulatory agencies.
