Civil Design Engineer (Hybrid Flexibility)

Position Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Design Engineer to join our engineering and infrastructure development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering and a proven track record in the design and analysis of buildings, bridges, or civil infrastructure projects. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop safe, sustainable, and cost-effective structural solutions from concept through construction. This position features hybrid flexibility. Responsibilities:
  • Perform structural analysis and design for a variety of infrastructure projects, including commercial buildings, bridges, transportation systems, and public works.
  • Develop detailed design drawings, specifications, and calculations in accordance with applicable codes and standards (e.g., AISC, ACI, ASCE, IBC).
  • Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and construction teams to ensure design intent is realized.
  • Utilize engineering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, or ETABS for design and modeling.
  • Review and validate contractor submittals, shop drawings, and field reports during the construction phase.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to evaluate existing structures or to oversee ongoing construction.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, permitting requirements, and industry standards.
  • Contribute to project planning, scheduling, and budgeting activities.
  • Prepare technical reports, design justifications, and documentation for stakeholders and regulatory agencies.
