Your Mission 
As CIAM Platform Leader, your mission is to ensure our customer identity platforms are stable, secure, and continuously delivering value to IKEA’s digital products and experiences. You’ll work closely with the CIAM Product Leader to operationalise the CIAM strategy and be the key contact for managing platform reliability, vendor relationships, support processes, and service performance. Your goal is to ensure our CIAM platforms run reliably and efficiently behind the scenes, providing customers with a seamless and secure experience. 

What You’ll Do 

  • Own the day-to-day operational performance of our CIAM platforms (primarily Okta/Auth0 and legacy tools), ensuring uptime, reliability, and security 

  • Manage relationships with support vendors and technology providers, ensuring that SLAs, OLAs, and service delivery expectations are clearly defined and consistently met 

  • Coordinate incident management and escalations with both internal teams and external service providers, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication 

  • Collaborate with the CIAM Product Leader to align platform operations with product strategy, including upcoming changes, migrations, and enhancements 

  • Maintain operational dashboards, reporting, and documentation that provide visibility into platform health, performance, and risk 

  • Lead service readiness activities for new features or product rollouts, including training, support planning, and change coordination 

  • Champion continuous improvement by identifying and implementing opportunities to optimise support processes, tooling, and collaboration across teams 

What Makes You a Fit 

  • You bring strong experience in platform operations, service management, or technical delivery roles, ideally with exposure to CIAM technologies such as Okta/Auth0, ForgeRock, or Azure AD B2C 

  • You’re comfortable managing third-party vendors and outsourced support teams, and you know how to hold them accountable for SLAs, KPIs, and root cause analysis 

  • You have a structured approach to incident and problem management, and you're able to communicate clearly with both technical teams and business stakeholders 

  • You thrive in complex, global environments and enjoy enabling others to deliver great digital products through reliable infrastructure 

  • Experience with ITIL, Agile environments, and cloud-native SaaS platforms will be beneficial in this role
