The Opportunity

This is a company-defining role and one of the most critical hires in Bizee’s next decade. As CTO, you will architect the technical vision, platform strategy, engineering culture, and operating model that transform Bizee into a scalable, AI-powered Entrepreneur Operating System.

You will lead the modernization of our platform moving from legacy systems and fragmented workflows to a modular, event-driven, API-first architecture that accelerates product velocity, powers intelligent automation, and enables a thriving partner ecosystem.

This is a role for a systems thinker, a builder, and a transformation leader who knows how to scale platforms, harmonize engineering and product strategy, and create the technical foundation for long-term enterprise value.

Requirements

What You’ll Lead

Technical Vision & Platform Architecture:

• Define and own Bizee’s multi-year technology vision and platform architecture.
  
• Lead the transition to a modular, scalable, event-driven platform that supports speed, AI, automation, and partner integrations.
  
• Architect Bizee’s open API ecosystem for third-party developers, partners, and internal product squads.

Engineering Leadership & Organizational Design:

• Build and scale a high-performing engineering organization obsessed with clarity, velocity, reliability, and craftsmanship.
  
• Establish engineering rituals, operating models, and accountability systems for multi-squad execution.
  
• Develop leaders, mentor talent, and instill an ownership-driven engineering culture.

AI-Driven Systems & Automation:

• Partner with Product, Data, and AI teams to embed intelligence into the platform’s core.
  
• Enable predictive workflows, event streaming, and automated decisioning across customer and operational journeys.
  
• Ensure the data, infrastructure, and platform patterns needed to support AI at scale.

Platform Modernization & Reliability:

• Modernize legacy systems into resilient, observable, modular components.
  
• Set the standard for platform reliability, redundancy, monitoring, and security.
  
• Drive improvements in developer experience, tooling, CI/CD, and internal platform services.

Cross-Functional Leadership:

• Collaborate shoulder-to-shoulder with Product, Growth, Marketing, Data, Operations, and Finance to turn vision into shipped outcomes.
  
• Translate technology strategy into business impact: revenue acceleration, retention, scalability, and enterprise value.
  
• Serve as a strategic partner at the executive table helping shape company strategy, prioritization, and long-term direction.

What You’ll Bring

• 12+ years of engineering leadership with extensive experience scaling high-growth platforms, SaaS systems, or tech-enabled services.
  
• Proven success modernizing complex architectures and building API-first, modular, or event-driven systems.
  
• Experience leading AI or automation-driven product development in partnership with Data/ML teams.
  
• Strong architectural horsepower and the ability to simplify complexity into clear decisions and scalable patterns.
  
• Exceptional leadership presence: builds trust, aligns teams, and drives execution.
  
• A builder’s mindset, decisive, resourceful, and committed to momentum.

Success Looks Like

Within months, Bizee’s engineering organization operates with clarity, velocity, and discipline. The platform is moving toward a modular, API-first, event-driven architecture that accelerates product velocity and enables new revenue opportunities. AI and automation are embedded into core systems. Reliability, developer experience, and time-to-market all improve measurably.

Within the first 12-18 months, Bizee has a modernized platform, a high-performing engineering culture, and the foundation to scale the next decade of product innovation, partner integrations, and AI-powered experiences.
