Delta is seeking a Chief Systems Engineer to support the FLITE+ effort at Los Angeles Air Force Base. This position serves as the definitive technical authority for the Missile Warning enterprise, responsible for driving system architecture, technical performance, and disciplined engineering execution across the FORGE environment.

What you'll be doing:
Serve as the Chief Systems Engineer and definitive technical authority for all aspects of engineering across the enterprise.
Maintain and drive system architecture, technical baselines, and overall system performance.
Lead and manage a multi-disciplinary engineering team and oversee technical performance of the program.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with customers and stakeholders to ensure mission needs, goals, and objectives are addressed.
Support coordination of Missile Warning system-level requirements, hardware and software design, and verification and validation activities.
Act as a key stakeholder in major engineering reviews, readiness reviews, and configuration control boards.
In coordination with the government SEIT lead, ensure the FORGE enterprise adheres to sound engineering processes across development, production, test, and sustainment.
Maintain cognizance over technical activities within FORGE Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and ensure horizontal integration of best engineering practices across the enterprise.
Coordinate regularly with the government SEIT lead to ensure consistent and aligned technical baselines.
What you'll need:
Active TS/SCI security clearance.
Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering with 20 years of relevant experience.
Extensive experience supporting Missile Warning systems at the enterprise level.
Demonstrated ability to serve as a senior technical authority, systems engineering leader, and trusted advisor in complex mission environments.
In compliance with Colorado pay transparency laws, the estimated salary range for this position is $200,000–$280,000 annually.
