Klim is on a mission to decarbonize agriculture at scale. Our platform empowers farmers to adopt regenerative practices—rewarding them for restoring soil, biodiversity, and carbon. Backed by $22 million in Series A funding, we’re expanding globally, partnering with major food industry leaders like Nestlé and Kaufland to help them reduce emissions along their supply chains, while making them more resilient and profitable at the same time. Since 2020, we’ve supported 3,500 farmers, covering 700,000 hectares (5% of Germany’s farmland!).

We’re now looking for an exceptional Chief of Staff to the CEO: a sharp, strategic operator who thrives on complexity, moves fast, and is deeply motivated by impact. You’ll sit at the heart of Klim’s leadership—translating vision into execution, removing roadblocks, and building the infrastructure to scale.

Your Role

As Chief of Staff, you’re not just supporting leadership—you amplify it. You operate at the heart of Klim’s executive team, driving strategic momentum and turning ambition into action.

• Lead and execute high-impact, cross-functional initiatives—from scaling international partnerships to shaping policy, driving commercial excellence, and unlocking new revenue opportunities

• Support and supercharge fundraising efforts—own timelines, prep materials, and steer the process alongside the CEO and investors

• Drive global expansion—identify new markets, coordinate rollouts, and ensure Klim is ready to scale across borders

• Accelerate organizational development—design and refine how we work, from operating models to team structures

• Own the rhythm of the CEO office—manage priorities, streamline decision-making, and keep the leadership team focused on what matters most

• Prepare strategic materials that move the needle—from board presentations to investor updates to internal narratives that align and inspire

• Be the glue across functions—connect dots, surface blind spots, and build systems that ensure alignment, clarity, and velocity

Who We’re Looking For

You’re an operator and a strategist. Highly analytical, deeply curious, and relentlessly driven to deliver results. Above all, you care about building a future that works—for people and planet.

• STEM background (engineering, natural sciences, economics or similar)—you think in systems, models, and numbers

• Top-tier experience in VC, strategy consulting, investment banking, or high-growth startups—you’ve sat in the pressure cooker and delivered

• Structured thinker with outstanding written + verbal communication

• Fluent in the language of decks, data, and high-stakes conversations

• You set a high bar for yourself and others—knowing when 80/20 is enough and when the situation demands nothing less than excellence

• Low ego, high ownership—you’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in

• German language skills are a strong plus—many of our partners and stakeholders are German-speaking

• You’re driven by solving society’s most urgent and complex challenges—and you want your work to matter.
