ABOUT THE ROLE 

As the Senior Director of Marketing, your primary responsibility will be to strategically position HyperionDev and its sub-products, including CoGrammar and Careers, in the minds of our target consumers, university partners, and employer partners. This role places a strong emphasis on marketing university-branded bootcamps and HyperionDev bootcamps on a global scale.

You will be the driving force behind differentiating our products and brand in the market, ensuring they remain relevant to our target audience. Your role will encompass managing all consumer-facing communications, maintaining our company's reputation, and upholding brand guidelines.

In addition, you will be entrusted with the leadership of various marketing teams, each specialising in critical areas such as growth marketing, paid media, analytics, and marketing operations. Your skillful direction of these teams will be instrumental in achieving our strategic marketing objectives, fostering innovation, and ensuring the highest levels of performance and collaboration.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leading Marketing Efforts: Leading marketing efforts for university-branded bootcamps and HyperionDev bootcamps across various regions.

  • Customer Persona Development: Developing in-depth customer personas and building robust customer analytics.

  • Team Expansion and Oversight: Expanding and overseeing a growing marketing team, focused on online and offline customer acquisition.

  • Digital Subscriber Acquisition Strategy: Designing, implementing, and managing a digital subscriber acquisition marketing strategy for maximum efficiency.

  • Omni-Channel Campaign Execution: Executing omni-channel acquisition initiatives and campaigns across multiple channels.

  • Hands-On Operational Management: Taking a hands-on approach to managing all operational and project management components of user acquisition.

  • Key Metric Ownership: Owning, tracking, and reporting key metrics related to acquisition, channel performance, and growth.

  • Data-Driven Campaign Recommendations: Developing data-driven recommendations for desktop and mobile campaigns, including creative and messaging strategies.

  • Testing Schedule Management: Managing creative, ad, and landing page testing schedules to optimize campaign results.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborating with sales, development, and product teams to enhance the user experience and conversion rates.

  • Acquisition Testing and Improvement: Innovating and implementing meaningful acquisition tests and funnel improvements.

  • Budget Management and Optimization: Overseeing significant budgets, analyzing and optimizing campaigns, and supervising all acquisition media buying.

  • Deliverable Management and Reporting: Managing deliverables, reporting campaign performance, and maintaining clear communication with the team and stakeholders.

  • Product Alignment: Collaborating with internal teams to align product offerings with customer priorities.

 

REQUIREMENTS 

Minimum:

  • Proven leadership experience in digital marketing, with a minimum of 6 years in a senior leadership role, fully managing a team of at least 10 direct or indirect reports whose primary work was in the area of digital marketing.
  • At least 2 years of experience leading a team scaling online education, edtech, ecommerce, or university branded/Online Programme Management marketing.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing digital marketing trends and technologies.

Preferred:

  • At least 4 years of experience leading marketing teams  in the Online Programme Management space / university branded offers.
  • At least 4 years of experience leading marketing specifically for online career change programmes.
