For the next season (spring/summer 2026), we are looking for a Chef de Rang - Room Service to join our La Terrazza Restaurant team. 

 

The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality and comfortable with challenges. He/She is willing to provide authentic and luxury dining experiences, confidence, curiosity and community. 

 

He/She reports to Restaurant Manager. 

Main Duties & Responsabilities

  • Service Coordination: coordinate all phases of room service, from order taking to final delivery, ensuring efficiency and high quality. 
  • Order Management: Take telephone and digital orders, advise guests on menu choices, and precisely manage special requests or dietary requirements. 
  • Setup and Quality Control: Ensure that trays and trolleys are prepared and set up according to the highest standards, checking the quality and correctness of preparations before delivery. 
  • Professional Delivery: Deliver orders to guest rooms with a courteous, discreet, and professional approach, explaining the dishes and ensuring complete guest satisfaction. 
  • Team Training and Guidance: Mentor and train support staff (Commis de Rang) to ensure everyone adheres to service standards and operational procedures. 
  • Problem Resolution: Promptly and diplomatically manage and resolve any complaints, complex requests, or unforeseen situations during service. 
  • Inter-Departmental Communication: Maintain constant and effective communication with the kitchen, bar, reception, and other departments to ensure a harmonious workflow. 
  • Compliance with Regulations: Ensure full compliance with hygiene and sanitation regulations (HACCP) and workplace safety within the Room Service area. 
  • Reporting: Compile service reports, including guest feedback and issues encountered, to contribute to continuous improvement.

Other requirements: 

  • Fluent in English and Italian; a third language preferred; 
  • Previous professional experience within the same role in a luxury environment; 
  • Passion for service and ambition to grow professionally.

  • Start date: April/May 2026 to End date: November 2026, with the aim of a continuous collaboration over subsequent seasons at Splendido and a career path;
