For the next season, we are looking for a Chef de Partie Pastry to join the team at our refined La Terrazza Restaurant and at the Pool Grill Restaurant.  

The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality and comfortable with challenges.  

He/she should have exceptional taste and exemplary customer service skills. The primary objective is to provide a friendly, attentive, and timely service and to create an exceptional experience for all our guests.   

He/She reports to Executive Chef.  

Main Duties & Responsabilities: 

  • Plan, prepare, and execute a wide array of exquisite desserts, cakes, pastries, chocolates, and other sweet items, ensuring the highest standards of taste, texture, and visual presentation. 
  • Develop new recipes and innovative dessert concepts in collaboration with the Pastry Chef, aligning with seasonal ingredients and guest preferences. 
  • Maintain impeccable standards of cleanliness, organization, and hygiene in the pastry section, strictly adhering to HACCP regulations and health & safety guidelines. 
  • Monitor inventory and ensure proper storage and rotation of all pastry ingredients. 
  • Ensure smooth communication and collaboration with other kitchen sections and front-of-house teams to facilitate seamless service. 
  • Conduct daily quality checks to guarantee consistency and excellence in all finished products. 

Requirements

  • A formal culinary qualification in pastry arts and extensive practical experience. 
  • A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant pastry kitchen.
  • Mastery of classic and contemporary pastry techniques, including a strong understanding of chocolate work, sugar craft, and plated desserts; 
  • Creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for creating memorable culinary experiences; 
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines; 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and collaborative approach; 
  • Proficiency in Italian is required; excellent command of English is a significant advantage; 
  • HACCP Certification

  • We offer seasonal Labour contract according to C.C.N.L. Settore Turismo - Level 4,  Chef de Partie Pastry;  
  • Start date: April/May 2026 to End date: November 2026, with the aim of a continuous collaboration over subsequent seasons at Splendido and a career path;  
  • Monthly gross salary 2.500€ + separate payslip for 13°,14° and TFR;
