As a Check-In Agent, you will be the friendly face that greets passengers, helping to make their check-in experience seamless and enjoyable, all while adhering to our airline and airport service guidelines.

Interview's will be held at Optimes WARRINGTON office, Applicants are required to meet us in person, face to face to progress with this position.
What's on offer:
- Rate of pay: £13.97 per hour
- 30 or 40 hours per week.
- Shift pattern: 6 on 3 off.
- Earliest shifts will begin at 03:30am and the latest finish time will be 23:00pm, working variable days and times on an operational demand roster.

Key Responsibilities:
- Complete processes and activities, in accordance with both CAA and DfT regulations and Airline(s), Airport(s) and company procedures.
- To ensure the overall Passenger experience of passengers handled is of an exceptional standard at all times.
- Complete the check in and boarding process for passengers and their baggage, in accordance with European Aviation Safety Agency and the CAA regulation and in line with the Airline(s) policies, procedures and requirements.
- Provide and maintain an excellent standard of customer service.
- Work cohesively as part of the team so as to maximise co-operation leading to the efficiency and effectiveness of the operation.
- Ensure effective communication with other departments as to maximise co-operation leading to the efficiency and effectiveness of the operation.
- Ensure Memo’s/Station Instructions are read at the beginning of each shift to ensure you are up to date with any changes relevant to your role.
- Deal with customer complaints/problems, at source where possible, keeping line management informed.
- Ensure within your role as an individual or member of the Front of House team you meet any targets/SLA/KPI.
- Ensure a record of any incidents/accidents involving customers, staff, equipment & aircraft are reported immediately to your line manager.
- Ensure all paperwork and administrative duties are completed in a timely manner and relevant information is forwarded where appropriate.
- Ensure all equipment used such as wheelchairs are checked and conform to Health and Safety standards.
- Ensure all working areas such as Check in desks, Ticket desk and Gates are in safe working order and to report any faults.
Shifts:
The Airport is operational 7 days per week and candidates will be working on a 6 on 3 off rolling rota.
An example of the shift hours for 30 or 40 hours per week (6 on 3 off pattern):
- Day 1: 03:00am – 08:30am
- Day 2: 03:00am – 08:30am
- Day 3: 04:00am – 11:00am
- Day 4: 03:00am – 08:30am
- Day 5: 14:30pm – 20:00pm
- Day 6: 14:30pm – 20:00pm
- Day 7: OFF
- Day 8: OFF
- Day 9: OFF
Requirements:
- Must have English and Maths GCSE or equivalent grade C or above.
- Valid Passport or UK photo ID (Driving Licence, Birth Certificate, or National ID).
- Right to work and live in the UK (proof required).
- Able to stand for extended periods (4–8 hours).
- Provide 5 years of checkable employment/education history via HMRC.
- Basic criminal record check required (post-interview).
