Who You’ll Work With
The Pre-sales Channel System Engineer collaborates closely with Channel Development Managers to assist potential partners, such as MSPs and VARs, in identifying the most suitable technology solutions for their customers' business needs, particularly in the areas of data, networking, and security. While the Channel Development Manager focuses on negotiating contract terms, the Pre-sales Engineer is responsible for making product recommendations and technical enablement for prospective partners on how Arista's technology delivers both business and technical value to their clients.
What You’ll Do
A Pre-sales Engineer supports the sales process. This engineer serves as a technology adviser to prospective Partners & Distributors. Successful Pre-sales Engineers display a strong commitment to developing and maintaining long-term partner relationships. The ability to understand partner requirements, determine the best solutions and effectively communicate the value proposition of those solutions are critical skills. Delivering high-quality demonstrations of the Arista portfolio of products and presenting case studies in support of the indirect sales opportunity is a key requirement.
