Job Summary:

 

The Channel Marketing Manager is responsible for creating, developing, and managing channel partnerships, collaborations, and referral programs to drive business growth. The manager will report directly to the Director of Marketing and work closely with internal teams to maximize partner engagement and performance.

 

What is expected in this role:

Owning and managing the growth of channel partners, partnerships, collaborations, and referrals:

  • Develop and implement channel partner programs to drive referrals and revenue growth.
  • Identify and establish partnerships with organizations aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage ongoing relationships with channel partners to ensure engagement and satisfaction via regular communication, events, and collaborations.
  • Create and execute co-marketing campaigns with partners to increase brand visibility and generate leads.
  • Track and analyze partner performance metrics to optimize partner strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of partner initiatives.
  • Communication and collaboration within organization to share initiatives, goals, and efforts to drive channel success.

  • Partner Engagement: Growth in active partners, organizations, and participation in marketing programs.
  • Reporting & Revenue Impact: Contribution of channel marketing initiatives to overall sales and pipeline.
  • Campaign Performance: Lead generation, conversion rates, and ROI from partner campaigns.
  • Brand Consistency: Alignment of partner marketing materials with brand standards.
  • Program Adoption: Utilization of marketing resources, tools, and funds by partners.
  • Relationship Management: Partner satisfaction scores and retention rates.
  • Operational Efficiency: Timely execution of campaigns and accurate reporting.

Requirements

What you need in this role to be successful:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • Proven experience in channel marketing, partnership development, or business development.
  • Excellent understanding of referral programs and co-marketing strategies.
  • Excellent relationship management, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and measure partner performance effectively.
  • Creative thinking, strategic collaboration, and efficient problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in managing and communicating the status of multiple projects at once.
  • Experience with vendor management and supplier coordination.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally to ensure organizational goals are met.
  • Proactive thinking, consistently foreseeing and preparing for forthcoming challenges or opportunities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of communicating in a remote-first environment.
  • Experience in start-up or early-stage environments with little or no defined infrastructure or processes.
  • Track record of working in a fast-paced, fluid environment.
  • Ability and empathy to relate to all levels of the leadership team.
  • Understanding of Veterans and veteran experience strongly preferred
