Change Manager

TLDR

Support the implementation of Change Management strategies while ensuring compliance with ITIL frameworks and driving process improvements in a dynamic environment.

ABOUT THE ROLE: 
 
A Change Manager is responsible for supporting the implementation and adherence to our Change Management strategy, framework, and policy, ensuring compliance with ITIL frameworks and company policies. The Change Manager plays a vital part in ensuring the stability and reliability of our Production environment by meticulously managing change activities, verifying documentation, and identifying opportunities for process improvement. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure changes are implemented smoothly and effectively.
 
 
YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
 
  • Audit Support: Provide support for internal and external audits by meticulously verifying the completeness and accuracy of change documentation, including release notes, test reports, deployment plans, rollback procedures, risk mitigation strategies, documentation updates, and supporting evidence.
  • Change Management Implementation: Support the implementation and adherence to the Change Management strategy, framework, and policy aligning with organizational goals and ITIL best practices.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Monitor change activities to ensure compliance with established change management policies and procedures. Ensure change processes are consistently followed within assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Real-time Operational Support: Act as the primary governance lead for Change Management, providing authoritative, rapid-response guidance on ad-hoc requirements to maintain deployment velocity while upholding compliance guardrails.
  • Regulatory Reporting & Certification: Facilitate technical compliance by generating periodic reports for regulatory authorities. Ensure all data extracts for certification requirements requested are delivered timely, and reflect the current state of our technical environment.
  • Process Adherence and Improvement: Implement and adhere to established change management processes, procedures, and tools. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives based on insights from change data and feedback.
  • Knowledge Management & Market Readiness: Curate and evolve the Change Management Knowledge Base to ensure training materials remain current with jurisdictional updates and operational requirements for entry into new global markets.
  • Component Lifecycle Governance: Lead the end-to-end management of technical components, encompassing onboarding, decommissioning, and mandatory annual CIAA re-classification. Maintain the integrity of "Critical" vs. "Non-Critical" designations to ensure constant alignment with global jurisdictional standards.
  • Strategic Release Orchestration: Develop and maintain monthly Release Management plans specifically tailored for Jurisdictional Authorities. This includes tracking changes to Critical Components that necessitate mandatory external certification or prior notification before deployment.
 
OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
 
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
  • Educational & Professional Foundation: Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. ITIL 4 Foundation certification.
  • Change Governance Expertise: Minimum 2 years of dedicated experience in IT Change Management. Proven ability to lead Change Advisory Boards (CAB), execute rigorous risk mitigation strategies, and bridge the gap between Change Enablement and Incident Management via Post-Implementation Reviews (PIRs).
  • Regulated Industry Experience: Minimum 2 years of dedicated Change Management experience within highly regulated sectors.
  • Strategic Project Management: Demonstrated capability in managing complex lifecycles with a focus on operational stability and cross-functional product delivery.
  • Ecosystem Proficiency: Power-user status in Jira and Confluence. Fluent in the Google Workspace suite and collaborative platforms such as Miro, Github, Slack, Zoom etc.
  • AI-Augmented Workflow: Proficiency in leveraging Generative AI (Gemini, Claude, ChatGPT) to automate documentation, synthesize technical logs, and optimize communication flows.
  • iGaming Regulatory Awareness: A robust understanding of the technical compliance landscape. Experience managing changes within regulated environments (e.g., SPA, KSA, ADM, DGOJ, UKGC, SGA) where modifications to Critical Components require strict audit trails and jurisdictional validation.
 
NICE-TO-HAVES:
  • ISO/IEC 27001 Familiarity: Practical knowledge of Information Security Management Systems (ISMS).
  • Crisis Communication: Experience in high-pressure Stakeholder Management, specifically the ability to translate technical "No Testing" risks into business-impact language for Engineering Managers for Emergency Changes.
  • DevOps & CI/CD Toolchain Integration: Experience with automated pipelines for continuous integration and deployment to support high-velocity changes.
  • Service Configuration Management: Familiarity with Configuration Management Systems (CMS) to understand CI dependencies and the impact of changes across the service map.
  • Post-Implementation Review (PIR): Experience conducting reviews after deployment to evaluate success and identify improvement opportunities for future change models.
