The Change Management Specialist plays a pivotal role in driving successful organizational transitions by ensuring changes are implemented smoothly and effectively. This position is responsible for managing the change process to meet business objectives, timelines, and budget requirements. The primary focus is on developing and executing strategies that minimize employee resistance while fostering engagement and adoption. By guiding employees and processes through change, the specialist accelerates integration and ensures that desired business outcomes are achieved.

Requirements

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Apply a structured change management approach and methodology to all projects and change efforts.
  • Develop a change management strategy based on a situational awareness of the details of the change and the groups being impacted by the change.
  • Identify potential people-side risks and anticipated points of resistance, and develop specific plans to mitigate or address the concerns.
  • Develop a set of actionable and targeted change management plans – including communication plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan and resistance management plan as required for the scope of the change.
  • Support the execution of plans by employee-facing managers and business leaders.
  • Our CMSs are an active and visible coach to leaders who are change personnel
  • Create and manage measurement systems to track adoption, utilization and proficiency of individual changes.
  • As a CMS you get to create and enable reinforcement mechanisms and celebrations of success.
  • Work with project teams to integrate change management activities into the overall project plan.
  • Work with BE, HR and Documentation specialists in the formulation of particular plans and activities to support project implementation.
  • Manage and oversee processes created by Documentation Specialists and ensuring quality of documentation.
  • All other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma (with equivalent experience and competence), evidence of high level in English (professional writing skills)
  • Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred
  • Minimum of two years in change management experience within a large organization
  • Experience in the BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) environment highly preferred
  • Change Management Professional designation through ACMP (Association of Change Management Professionals) is a preferred
  • Experience and knowledge in Six Sigma and/or Lean methodologies preferred
  • Experience and knowledge in Total Process Management (TPM) and/or Total Quality Management (TQM) preferred

Required Skills:

  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft office, specifically Word and Excel required.   Visio experience is recommended.
  • Ability to create complex deliverables from general instructions.
  • Ability to work on several projects simultaneously.
  • A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process.
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization.
  • Excellent active listening skills.
  • Problem solving and root cause identification skills.
  • Strong analytic and decision-making abilities.
  • Must be a team player and able to work with and through others.
  • Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.
  • Experience with large-scale organizational change effort.
