CFX / VFX ARTISTS

TLDR

Join a production team for THE AMAZING MAURICE 2, focusing on advanced CFX/VFX tasks like particle effects and fluid simulations using Houdini and Maya.

Red Star are looking for talented CFX / VFX ARTISTS to work remotely on our production of THE AMAZING MAURICE 2. Candidates must be based in the UK or in the EU.

The job:

Designing and implementing particle effects and soft/hard body dynamics (in Houdini)
Designing and implementing CFX, including cloth FX (in Maya) and hair simulations
Running fluid sims (in Houdini, for volumetric FX as well as liquid FX)

Must have:

Four years production experience (minimum)
Experience with Houdini and Maya

Nice to have:

Maya API, Python scripting
Feature film experience

Details:

Experience level: Senior / Mid / Junior
Contract term: May 26 - Feb 27
Salary: negotiable
Whilst these are fully remote positions, due to the way this project is funded candidates MUST be physically based in the UK or EU to be eligible and a strong preference will be given to UK-based candidates.
