Role Overview

This role is responsible for financial reporting and planning & analysis for Global operation Packaging costs. It is recommended for the candidate who has intermediate accounting knowledge and experience to work with multiple stakeholders. The candidate must possess grit and be detailed oriented. The role is focused on financial modelling, budget control, and reporting with a key emphasis on supporting cross functional business partners.

Key Responsibilities

The role is in Packaging Finance team who supports Coupang's overall Packaging cost agenda.

1. Financial reporting, planning and analysis

• Rolling forecast, weekly/monthly/quarterly/monthly view update.
• Actual performance vs target variance analysis with bridge
• Official communication with group central finance and accounting and facilitating the discussion in a central.
• Provide business visibility to leadership and business partners

2. Budget Cost Control

• Consolidating PL overview from multi stakeholders over the entities
• Budget review
• ROI analysis on investment

3. Ensure correct accounting

• Intercompany transactions, and settlement correctness

4. Ensure compliance to SOX controls, and improve existing systems - PowerBI, SAP, etc.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
• A minimum of 5 years+ of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis in a fast-paced technology oriented organization.
• Experience in leading and developing new financial processes, models and tools.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to partner with non-finance leaders.
• Strong MS-Office skills (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint).
• Expertise in financial modeling and data analysis.
• Strong analytical thinking. Be able to start with problem statement, ask 5 Whys and arrive at data backed solutions
• Fluency in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant/CPA/CMA
• Experience working in Manufacturing companies
