Certified Prosthetic Orthotist (CPO)

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Prosthetist Orthotist (CPO) to join our clinical team in Easley, SC. This full-time role is ideal for a licensed professional dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered prosthetic and orthotic care.

The CPO will evaluate patients, design and fit custom prosthetic and orthotic devices, and provide ongoing follow-up care to enhance mobility, independence, and overall quality of life. This opportunity offers collaboration with physicians, therapists, and clinical staff in a supportive, growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized prosthetic and orthotic treatment plans
  • Design, fabricate, fit, and adjust custom prosthetic and orthotic devices
  • Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
  • Educate patients and caregivers on device use, maintenance, and safety
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation and records
  • Uphold ethical standards and promote compassionate, patient-focused care

Requirements

  • Licensed Prosthetist/Orthotist in South Carolina or eligible for licensure
  • Certification through ABC (American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics & Pedorthics) or BOC (Board of Certification/Orthotics & Prosthetics)
  • Previous clinical experience in prosthetics and orthotics preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Commitment to improving patient outcomes and delivering compassionate care
