Certified Med Technician

• Role: Certified Med Technician responsible for resident health, safety, and well-being
• Care Duties: Assist residents with daily living activities while promoting dignity and independence
• Medication Administration: Safely administer prescribed medications (oral, eye, ear, nasal, rectal, topical)
• Safety Protocols: Follow a strict 3-step check—confirm resident, medication, and correct dosage/route/time
• Compliance: Adhere to medication labeling requirements and all care standards
• Standards: Maintain high levels of accuracy, safety, and professionalism at all times

• High School Diploma required
• Completion and certification of a recognized Medication Administration course.
• 1 year experience or training, preferably working with older adults or in the retirement housing industry
• A comprehensive pre-employment background check is mandatory and will be conducted prior to employment.
