Faith in Place is seeking an Environmental Justice Education Youth Facilitator for the 2025 Summer Eco-Ambassador Program.  


The responsibilities for the position include:

  • Deliver environmental justice education curriculum to teens (14-18 years old) for a 5 week summer program.
  • Facilitate team building and socializing activities
  • Attend weekly field trips to local and regional locations for stewardship, education, and recreational opportunities
  • Assist the senior youth empowerment program coordinator with day to day operations to successfully deliver the summer Eco-Ambassador Program.  
  • Estimated 20 hours/week commitment


The requirements for the position include:

  • Eco-Ambassador Program Alumni (Preferred)
  • Some College or Trade School Experience
  • Ability to travel to weekly field trip sites
  • At least 2 years of previous experience in informal education programs or settings
Salary
$3,000 per month
