When supporting FOH, this position provides our guests with efficient, friendly and professional food and beverage service while following all policies and procedures of SAIT.  When supporting BOH, this position provides cleaning, food prep and basic cooking to our outlets, while following all policies and procedures of SAIT.  The Role - FOH Serving / Bartending:
  • Knowledge of menu items and preparation methods
  • Processing all guest orders in the Micros Point of Sale (POS)
  • Execute delivery of all food and beverage in an efficient and professional manner
  • Provide guests with exceptional customer service 
  • Process of all customer bills and payments
  • Complete end of day cashout procedures, ensuring accuracy of deposit
  • Maintain a high level of safety and sanitation standards
  • Cleaning of tables/counters
  • Monitor and order packaging supply inventory
  • Stock beverage coolers, coffee station/take out supplies, and retail
  • Assist with the opening and closing duties of the outlet
  • Setup and teardown of tables, chairs, décor and AV
  • Assist with replenishing buffet items and all necessary serving utensils
  • Assume related duties as required
  • The Role - BOH Stewarding / Prep Cook
  • Clean kitchen equipment, hand wash dishes,  operate dishwasher and overall maintain a high level of safety and sanitation standards
  • Food preparation
  • Deep cleaning of all equipment
  • Knowledge of menu items and preparation methods
  • Package prepared foods, labeling & pricing
  • Assist with the opening and closing duties of the outlet
  • Assume related duties as required
  • Qualifications & Experience
  • A High School Diploma is required
  • Previous working experience is preferred
  • Physical Requirements
  • This position will require lifting of up to 50 lbs. and standing for extended periods of time
  • Working Conditions
  • These positions can deal directly with the public in a fast paced environment.
  • Cashiers will utilize the MICROS point of sale and payment devices.
  • Stewarding members will utilize the dishwasher and chemicals for cleaning.
  • Prep Cooks will utilize knives and any kitchen equipment required to prepare for service.

    Hourly pay range: $16.04 - $20.42
    # of positions: 15
    Position end date: 6 month contract based on start date
