At Catawiki, every day brings the extraordinary! Whether it’s Daniel Ricciardo’s Formula 1 Car, a Woolly Mammoth’s Skeleton, Lady Gaga's Jumpsuit or Usain Bolt’s running shoe, we encounter exceptional objects every day.
We’re a one-of-a-kind marketplace for buying and selling special objects. Each week, more than 110,000 unique items are auctioned, all carefully curated by our passionate in-house experts.
Having sold over 25 million unique objects, our mission is to become the world’s most popular destination for special objects. As a growing, diverse and sustainable scale-up, we proudly live by three core values. If these values resonate with you, we’d love to explore how you can join us.
About the Role
Trading Cards isn’t just a category on Catawiki. It’s a culture, a fandom, a global economy built on hype cycles, nostalgia, rarity, and pure collector energy. Think Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, sports cards, K-pop cards, limited releases, graded grails, and the kind of niche drops you only hear about if you’re plugged into the community. It moves fast, it grows fast, and the commercial potential is massive.
As Category Manager, you’re basically running your own business inside Catawiki. You see opportunities before others do, you know how to turn data into revenue, and you influence people around you to get things moving. You’ll lead a team of card-obsessed experts, scale high-value supply, elevate the buyer experience, and keep the category buzzing with momentum. If you thrive in a space where culture and commerce collide, this role is pure adrenaline.
This role is based in the Netherlands with a hybrid setup. We ask you to join us in the Amsterdam office two days a week because that’s where the magic happens. Category managers, sales leaders, marketing partners, commercial stakeholders. In-person collaboration helps ideas move fast and keeps everyone aligned as the category evolves.

Where You’ll Be
This is a hybrid role based in the Netherlands. You’ll join us in our Amsterdam office two days a week to collaborate with fellow managers, spark ideas with cross-functional teams, and stay close to the conversations that shape the category.
What We Offer
A category with insane growth potential and a passionate global community. You’ll get real ownership, a ton of trust, and space to experiment. You’ll work with ambitious colleagues from all over the world while shaping one of Catawiki’s most energetic categories. Expect strong development support, an informal vibe, and plenty of activities to keep things fun and connected.
Our vibrant offices in Amsterdam, Paris and Lisbon are designed to inspire collaboration. Most Catawikians operate in a hybrid setup, combining office-based and remote work, with a minimum of two days per week in the office, unless a role is explicitly stated as fully remote or fully office-based.
Apply with an English CV and Cover Letter. By applying, you agree to Catawiki’s Applicant Privacy Policy. If you’re excited about this role but don’t meet every requirement, we still encourage you to apply anyway. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
