How will you contribute to Skroutz and team’s vision and mission

As a Category Manager, you will own and scale one of our category groups, driving its growth, profitability, and overall performance. You will act as the in-house market expert, crafting the strategy, shaping the value proposition for consumers and merchants, and leading the execution across functions. The position demands a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, working closely with Product, Operations, Content, Partners, and other teams to ensure Skroutz offers the strongest possible user experience and assortment. To thrive, you’ll need to bring both strategic vision and proven operational expertise, as outlined in the requirements below.

What you will be doing

  • Drive category performance, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability
  • Shape the vision and lead the execution of a clear growth strategy
  • Monitor, manage, and optimize the category P&L, balancing key trade-offs
  • Spot and capture opportunities across the entire user journey, from discovery to fulfillment
  • Collaborate with Partners and Content teams to strengthen and diversify our assortment
  • Work closely with Product and Operations to enhance the end-to-end user experience
  • Act as the in-house market expert, providing insights and direction for category strategy

Requirements

What makes you a great fit 

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience across product, business, or category management, consulting, or P&L ownership roles
  • Background in e-commerce, marketplaces, or fast-paced business environments
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects independently
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Degree in Engineering, Economics, Business, Sciences, or equivalent
  • Passion for technology, growth, and reinventing consumer/merchant experiences
