About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Manual Migration Manager to support our catalog migration operations. In this role, you will help rightsholders, artists, and labels manually migrate their catalogs into our platform ensuring accuracy, completeness, and a smooth onboarding experience.

This is a junior-level position for someone who enjoys structured, methodical work, can manage multiple tasks independently, and feels comfortable working in digital music systems. Training will be provided, but familiarity with the music distribution ecosystem is a plus.

This position reports to the Migration & Distribution Operations Lead and works closely with our Support, Distro, and Account Management teams.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual catalog ingestion and data migration for new customers.

  • Review and clean metadata to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with platform and DSP requirements.

  • Work closely with rightsholders to collect missing assets, metadata, and documentation.

  • Track migration progress, flag issues, and ensure timely completion of all assigned tasks.

  • Communicate with clients clearly and professionally throughout their onboarding migration.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (Support, Product, Distro) to troubleshoot ingestion gaps and resolve errors.

  • Follow existing workflows and contribute feedback to improve operational processes.

  • Ensure accurate delivery preparation for DSPs and content platforms.

  • Maintain organized records and documentation for each migration project.

  • Assist with catalog segmentation and structuring when required.

Requirements:

  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Comfortable working with digital music assets (audio files, artwork, metadata).

  • Familiarity with music distribution concepts, DSP deliveries, metadata formats, or catalog structures (preferred but not required).

  • Basic technical literacy, including:

  • Excel/Google Sheets

  • File storage tools (Google Drive, Dropbox, FTP/S3 preferred)

  • Understanding of file formats (WAV, MP3, JPEG, XML helpful)

  • Strong communication skills and customer-friendly approach.

  • Ability to follow structured workflows and meet deadlines.

  • Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn new systems quickly.

  • Experience working remotely or with distributed teams is an advantage.

Nice-to-Have (Not Required):

  • Previous experience in music distribution, label operations, or digital delivery workflows.

  • Familiarity with DDEX, YouTube Content ID, or metadata standards.

  • Experience working with large spreadsheets or datasets.

  • Exposure to CRM/helpdesk tools (HubSpot, Freshdesk, Monday, etc.).

  • Basic understanding of SQL or data querying (bonus, not expected).
