Global Dimensions is currently seeking a Mid level Cartographer for a position at Fort Shafter, in Honolulu, HI.

Requirements

  • Have a current TS/SCI security clearance with ability to obtain a CI Poly.
  • A minimum of five (5) to ten (10) years of relevant demonstrated experience.
  • Experience in cartographic finishing, feature extraction, and data content management.
  • Familiarity with CIB1, TLMs, MGCP products, MDG, DTED, and SRTM as they relate to boundary recovery processes.
  • Strong understanding of feature data extraction, attribution process, and cartographic finishing methods.
  • Proficient in ArcGIS, Socet-Set, RemoteView, or comparable ELT software.
  • Extensive knowledge of geospatial database content management practices.
  • Experience with FME, ESRI extract, transform, and load (ETL) tools, or similar software extensions.
  • Experience with GAIT, ArcGIS Data Reviewer, or comparable geospatial data inspection tools.
  • Understanding of intelligence organizations and systems, including collection/reporting systems, data sources, and analytical techniques.
  • Extensive knowledge of the geographical and cultural aspects of foreign regions.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop production schedules and consistently meet or exceed customer deadlines; proven capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in integrating digital cartography, GIS, cartographic and geospatial production techniques, computer technologies, remote sensing, photogrammetry, and various digital data formats.
  • Experience working with geospatial data within a collaborative, multi-user enterprise environment.
