We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Punch List Carpenter to join our team. This role focuses on completing final-stage construction tasks on commercial and large residential projects. The ideal candidate takes pride in delivering high-quality finishing work and ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards before turnover.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete punch list items on commercial and large residential construction projects
- Perform touch-up and finish work including:
- Paint touch-ups and minor repainting
- Drywall patching, repair, and texture matching
- Cabinetry adjustments and repairs
- Trim installation and repairs
- Door and hardware adjustments
- Basic carpentry modifications and corrections
- Identify deficiencies and proactively address quality issues
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Coordinate with project managers and superintendents to ensure timely completion of tasks
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of carpentry or finish carpentry experience (commercial or large scale, multi family residential preferred).
- Strong knowledge of construction finishing processes
- Ability to complete detailed work with minimal supervision
- Skilled in paint, drywall repair, cabinetry adjustments, and trim work
- Ability to read punch lists and follow project specifications
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
