About this Role:

Maven is looking for a mission-driven, empathetic Career Coach (ICF-Certified) based in Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong, or Australia who is fluent in Mandarin to support our members through virtual coaching services.

As a Maven provider, you will connect with members globally, helping scale access to high-quality, personalized career support. You will join a curated provider network spanning 30+ specialties and 350+ subspecialties, all dedicated to delivering holistic, high-value care. As we continue to expand across 175+ countries, we are growing our best-in-class global provider network.

What You'll Do:  

  • Provide 1:1 virtual coaching to members via 30-minute video consults on career development, transitions, and goal-setting
  • Support members with job search strategies, resume review, and interview preparation
  • Guide individuals through career pivots, return-to-work journeys, and leadership development
  • Help members build confidence, clarify career direction, and overcome professional challenges
  • Offer culturally sensitive coaching tailored to diverse, global populations
  • Document session summaries in Maven’s practice management system (MPractice)
  • Collaborate with Maven’s Care Delivery team to ensure member needs are met and appropriate follow-ups are recommended
  • Act as an ambassador of Maven’s care model, delivering empathetic, high-impact coaching

Who You Are:

  • Currently residing in Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong, or Australia
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin (spoken and written)
  • Certified career coach accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) — ACC, PCC, or MCC required
  • Proven experience in career coaching, workforce development, or talent development (3+ years preferred)
  • Experience supporting diverse populations, including early-career professionals, mid-career transitions, or working parents is a plus
  • Strong communication, active listening, and goal-setting skills
  • No history of professional misconduct or ethical violations
  • Able to commit approximately 2 hours per week; this is a part-time, independent contractor role
  • Comfortable delivering coaching via a digital platform; prior virtual coaching experience preferred
  • Passionate about helping individuals grow, succeed, and navigate meaningful career paths
