Join Vail Health’s Surgical Associates team and be part of a supportive, fast-paced surgical clinic that delivers high-quality, compassionate care to our mountain community. Surgical Associates supports patients through a wide range of procedures—from general and minimally invasive surgery to trauma and cancer care—and you’ll play an important role in helping patients feel informed, comfortable, and cared for every step of the way.
This is a great opportunity for entry-level candidates who enjoy working with people, learning hands-on clinical skills, and being part of a collaborative healthcare team.
Be a welcoming first point of contact for patients and provide regular check-ins during their visit
Assist with patient care tasks such as:
Taking and documenting vital signs
Collecting patient information
Completing pre-op checklists and documentation in the EMR
Help keep the clinic running smoothly by preparing exam and procedure rooms and supporting daily patient flow
Work closely with providers and clinical staff to carry out care instructions and orders
Support scheduling, admitting, and discharging patients as needed
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control and safety standards
Protect patient privacy and model Vail Health’s values and Just Culture principles
One of the following certifications:
EMT (CO), CNA (CO), CMA, RMA, CCMA, NCMA, MAC, or NRCMA
BLS certification (required)
Basic computer skills and comfort learning new systems
Ability to communicate clearly in English
One year of care tech or clinical experience preferred, but not required for motivated candidates eager to learn.
