What's the opportunity?
As our Card-Present Manager, you will own the operational execution of in-person payments across multiple markets.
Your mission is to turn signed POS partnerships into live, scalable, and reliable card-present payment flows, working closely with internal teams and external partners.
This role sits at the intersection of payments operations, partnerships, and execution. You’ll ensure that once a POS partner is signed, merchants can go live smoothly, devices work reliably, and card-present payments scale without friction.
What will I be doing?
POS Partner Operations
Act as the day-to-day operational owner for POS partners.
Coordinate launch readiness across Product, Operations, Engineering, Compliance, Legal, and Customer Success.
Serve as the main operational point of contact between internal teams and external POS partners.
Launch & Scale Execution
Drive end-to-end execution from contract signature to first merchants live and fully ramped.
Coordinate critical launch components, including: 1) POS hardware sourcing, imports, and inventory management; 2) Terminal provisioning, pairing, and onboarding flows; 3) Certifications, SDK integrations, and acquirer requirements and 4) Identify risks and blockers early, and push resolution across teams and partners.
Operational Excellence
Define, monitor, and improve SLAs related to devices, incidents, and partner response times.
Lead incident coordination and post-mortems for card-present payment flows.
Ensure ongoing compliance with local card-present and regulatory requirements, in close partnership with Legal and Compliance teams.
What skills do I need?
3+ years of experience in payments, fintech, POS, or acquiring.
Hands-on experience with card-present / in-person payments.
Strong cross-functional execution skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders.
Proven experience managing external partners and complex operational setups.
Comfort operating in fast-paced, multi-market, multi-stakeholder environments.
A structured, problem-solving mindset with strong attention to operational detail.
Experience working with IA and automation is highly valued.
