The Role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Professional to join our dedicated Capital Market team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our financial strategy, leveraging your expertise in cashflow modelling, investment banking, networking, and facility management to help us achieve our ambitious growth targets. This opportunity is ideal for a finance investment professional looking to accelerate their career by gaining first hand experience within the dynamic and rapidly expanding environment of a high-energy business.

The Capital Markets team is responsible for managing relationships with institutional investors that deploy capital via the YouLend platform; track performances of the investment mandates; identify early trends in the market to take relevant actions; deploy and report on the individual portfolios. You will manage end-to-end transactions and take responsibilities both pre and post deals.

Requirements

Responsibilities: 

  • Financial analysis and modelling while upholding data accuracy within financial models, and work closely with internal team members to solidify the financial model assumptions supporting our investment offerings
  • Prepare and improve pitch documents for new and existing investment opportunities
  • Support diligence activities with required stakeholders
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to take ownership of deals from origination to closing
  • Establish presence and networks amongst investor communities 

The ideal candidate will have the following skillset:  

  • Proven experience in cashflow modelling, preferably in an investment banking or similar role
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, credit products, and credit risk management
  • Display a strong bias for action
  • Previous responsibility for building investor relationships and managing end-to-end transactions

Desirable skills:

  • Hands on experience with SQL
  • In-depth domain expertise in the structured finance and securitised products space at an institutional level across any asset class
  • Ability to work independently and in a small team
  • Comfort with ambiguity
  • You are independent, ambitious, and self-motivated and looking to make an impact
