The Capital and Asset Management Lead will lead and partner with Europe Seeds R&D locations to ensure timely execution of capital projects, asset management, and financial reporting, while representing Europe interests globally.   • Capital Planning & Budgeting: lead the development and execution of the annual and 5-year capital budget for Europe Seeds R&D, including data gathering, analysis, presentation, and prioritization.
  • This includes working with station managers, project managers, and finance teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment with global strategies.
  • Single Point of Truth for all capital projects in Europe Seeds R&D.
  • Asset Management: in collaboration with Finance - for assets amortization & depreciation - and Engineering - for technical strategy implementation; manage the lifecycle of assets across Europe Seeds R&D locations, including tracking, transfers, disposals, and reporting. 
  • Lead regional CMMS modifications and upgrades to sustain functionality and implement improvements.
  • Project Management Support: provide support for PPM Capex projects, including resolving issues related to IO numbers and other operational challenges.
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis: provide accurate and timely financial reporting on capital spending and asset management to global and regional stakeholders.
  • Global Collaboration: represent the Europe region in global capital planning and asset management initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and consistency across regions.
  • Data Management & Reporting: maintain accurate and up-to-date data in relevant tracking systems. Prepare and present regular updates to stakeholders, accountable for Capex visual dashboard.
  • Training & Coaching: coach and train regional stakeholders on best practices in capital planning and asset management.
  • Support Station Managers in the SMM timely review; on a quarterly base provide the overview of the Europe SMM performances to relevant stakeholders.

You will be a great fit if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance and budget management.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience using SAP.
  • Proven experience in project management and capital planning.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and cross-functional environment.
  • Proven IT skills with Microsoft package, in particular Excel and Smartsheet (Power BI - nice to have). 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in English knowledge. 
  • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders across multiple functions and locations.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and cross-functional environment.
  • Experience working in a global organization.
