Candidate Sales Executive - Cape Town

R20 000 – R35 000 per month

Candidates Sales Executive Location: Office based in Claremont, Cape Town Working hours are expected to be: 9AM - 6PM UK time. (11AM - 8PM SA time in SA summer, 10AM - 7PM SA time in SA winter) Shorter days during some of August. Salary: 20,000 - 35,000 Rand per month based on experience and performance. Different sales incentives run throughout the year to allow you to earn up 60,000 Rand extra per annum. Contract type: Full time, Temp to perm, permanent contract starting after 6 month probationary period.    About Zen Educate:  Zen is revolutionising education. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference and be part of a high growth start-up that is expanding rapidly in the UK and US markets!   Who we are looking for: ● Someone passionate and motivated, who loves being a part of a close team ● Proven track record of hitting sales targets  ● Confident communicator able to work closely with a sales team and various other stakeholders  ● Growth mindset — dedicated to growing your skills as a professional ● Passion for companies that have a positive social impact and the education sector ● Strong bias to action  ● Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage educators ● Care and empathy for the education sector and the challenges of working in it   What you'll be doing: ● Calling candidates (Teachers, Teaching Assistants and other roles) to engage them with the Zen educate platform and help them find work in UK schools as quickly as possible. ● Assessing educator quality based on their communication, experience and transferable skills ● Follow up inbound and outbound leads and drive urgency in finding work through Zen Educate while providing all necessary documentation for compliance purposes.  ● Interact with candidates in a friendly and helpful manner and maintain positive relationships to keep them on board with us and create a great candidate experience ● Increase the number of talented candidates on our platform and help place them in roles by matching their skills to the schools’ requirements  ● Work collaboratively across the business with the sales and technology teams to help improve efficiency in providing value to candidates. ● Leveraging technology and tools within our app to provide efficient and unique to the industry candidate onboarding   Experience & Qualifications Required: ● At least 2 years of sales or client facing experience OR ● Experience working in or with the UK education sector     What's in it for you?  ● Work that you want to talk about  ● Competitive salary  ● 25 days of holiday in line with UK education term dates, plus UK bank holidays.  ● Fun-loving, tight-knit team solving a problem that makes a difference      Diversity and Inclusion  We welcome applicants with diverse backgrounds, and different experiences and perspectives - just like the staff who teach through Zen and the children at the schools we work with.
