About the role:
The Campaign Director, Contract Employee is the day-to-day marketing lead and an integral part of the Ad Council’s Campaign and Programs team responsible for overseeing the development, implementation and evaluation of fully integrated public service communications programs that drive sustainable and measurable social change. On a day-to-day basis, they are trusted partners and advisers to nonprofit and government clients, as well as pro-bono agencies.
Whether it’s reviewing research, working collaboratively on a strategy and evaluating creative, understanding the competitive landscape, executing with partners against digital and PR/social plans, or partnering with one of our board member companies on their CSR initiative, your job will be to oversee and coordinate the various processes that go into developing communications programs that truly surround an issue, reach an audience and make a difference in our world.
This role is perfect for an established marketer who is a stellar project and people leader who builds relationships easily, thrives and adapts well to change, can both think strategically and roll up their sleeves, has excellent communication skills and presence, and is passionate about social change. This position may necessitate travel for campaign productions and meetings, and other Ad Council events.
Timing and Employment Length:
This is a contract employee role. This means that, while the position is at all times one of “at will employment”, the Ad Council anticipates at present that the employment length would be approximately 6 months with the possibility to extend the contract.
The compensation for this position is $10,000 monthly, paid semi-monthly.Contract employees receive a W-2 for tax reporting purposes and will be eligible to participate in limited benefits and paid time off.
