We are seeking an experienced CAM Programmer with strong Mastercam expertise to support CNC machining operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in the Norfolk, VA area. This is a full-time, salaried, 100% onsite position, working five days per week on the shop floor. This role works closely with machinists, shop leadership, and engineering to develop efficient, accurate CNC programs while supporting parts through production. The ideal candidate is hands-on, comfortable in a manufacturing environment, and skilled at translating engineering drawings and GD&T into reliable machining strategies that drive quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery. #LAT Qualifications
  • Ability to create new CAM programs using Mastercam
  • Ideally 5+ years as a PowerCad user
  • Mastercam experience with Mill 3D and turning (single spindle)
  • Ability to analyze G-Code
  • CAD and 3D modeling experience (Inventor preferred)
  • Work-holding design experience
  • Manufacturing experience, preferably with CNC machining
