The Call Center Trainer is responsible for developing, implementing, and facilitating training for the Collections department both in person and via Zoom. This role creates and updates training materials, leads interactive learning sessions, and provides one-on-one coaching to support agent development. The trainer partners closely with operations leaders to ensure all training aligns with business needs and addresses identified skill gaps. They also monitor performance, track progress, and deliver feedback to improve effectiveness. Additionally, the Call Center Trainer keeps agents motivated and engaged throughout the learning process.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Facilitate engaging in-person and virtual training and coaching sessions for individuals and groups.
Create, update, and maintain training materials, guides, and digital content to support new hire and ongoing training needs.
Provide direct feedback, conduct role-playing exercises, and offer on-the-job support to strengthen agent skills.
Assess agent performance to identify training needs, customize learning solutions, track training effectiveness, measure progress, and report outcomes to management.
Serve as a strategic partner to Collections leadership by identifying knowledge gaps and implementing effective training solutions that support the success of all operations staff.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
2+ years of experience in a Learning and Development role, or equivalent
1+ years of experience in a Customer Service and/or Collections role
Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communications and presentation skills with strong attention to detail
Demonstrated knowledge using instructional design techniques in conjunction with adult learning theory.
Ability to work independently to meet project requirements with minimal supervision.
Ability to be flexible and adaptable in an ever-changing environment.
Highly intelligent with a strong aptitude to learn new things easily.
High level of integrity and trust
Team-player with selfless attitude
Ability to work nights or weekends if/when necessary.
Compensation: MXN $350,000 - $450,000 annually
