Cable Processor - Talley

We are looking for a Cable Processor to join our Talley team in Carslstadt, NJ!

Summary:
Cable Processors are responsible for preparing the cable for orders for Will Call and all other orders.

What You'll Do:

• Lagging reels, cut cable, scrapping cable, weighing cable and box cable
• Place reels on the winder
• Keep the yard outside clean and orderly (if applicable, manage reels to be sure they are orderly)
• Participate in weekly Company Big Goal meetings
• Be open to change and deal calmly and effectively with high-stress situations
• Additional job duties and responsibilities may be added at any time, as business needs may dictate

What You'll Need

• High School or GED - Required

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• 1+ years of warehouse experience
• Prelude Experience Required
• Ability to read and write in English and basic math skills

• Talk, hear, taste, smell: Must be able to use senses to effectively communicate with co-workers and clients and detect hazardous conditions - Occasionally – up to 20%

Weight and Force Demands:

• Up to 50 pounds - Occasionally – up to 20%

Working Environment:

For the state of New Jersey only, the pay range is $16.50 to $20.63, depending upon qualifications, experience, and other considerations permitted by law.
