Are you ready to make to expand your skillset operating in a global company? NORIT, one of the world's leading activated carbon producers, is looking for a Buyer to help us source the goods and services that keep our operations running smoothly across production sites.


As a Buyer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services. You’ll work with internal stakeholders and suppliers to maintain continuity of supply, uphold quality standards, and support our procurement compliance efforts. What you will do:

  • Procure goods and services (within specific value bracket), ensuring compliance with Norit’s procurement policies.
  • Manage purchase orders, approvals, and documentation within our ERP system.
  • Communicate with suppliers to track outstanding orders and resolve invoice discrepancies.
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Monitor timely delivery of goods and services that meet agreed quality and pricing.
  • Support resolution of supplier performance issues and quality complaints.
  • Contribute to supplier evaluations and risk management processes.
  • Identify cost-effective purchasing strategies and support departmental KPIs.
  • Promote Norit’s values and uphold high standards in environmental, health, and safety practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in purchasing/procurement or in customer support is highly preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with other business applications (ERP).
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal).
  • Understanding of contract terms and basic financial principles - preferred.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a proactive and positive attitude.
  • Willingness to occasionally travel and complete required training.

  • Monthly salary 1500 - 1800 EUR Gross (depending on qualifications and experience).
