Position Summary

We seek a highly motivated and energetic Planner/Buyer to join our Operations team. A qualified candidate must be willing to learn new techniques quickly and be able to adapt to shifting priorities in a fast- paced and growing environment. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Planner/Buyer to master plan production schedule while working with existing buyer to execute the procurement plan.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate the implementation of the Master Resource Plan and Production Schedule with R&D manufacturing and QC functions to satisfy the forecast.
  • Maintain strong working relationships and communications directly with the customer service, procurement, manufacturing, QC, and shipping to communicate lead times; maintain FG inventory levels to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure appropriate inventory levels are planned and maintained for finished goods, raw materials, components, and biological reagents (including antibodies, oligonucleotides, antigens, and other lab-use materials). Maintain accurate transaction-level detail for all inventory movements and transfers in the ERP system, and coordinate inventory planning and replenishment across all material categories to support uninterrupted operations.
  • Plan and execute procurement of materials and products. Monitor purchase order status and shipment tracking information to ensure on-time deliveries.
  • Create and maintain new part numbers, BOMs, etc. in the ERP System.
  • Review and maintain safety stock levels.
  • Other ERP-related tasks and projects as required.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in a relevant field, CPIM or similar certification.
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in planning and supply chain management, preferably in Life Sciences
  • Experience with MRP/ERP software, experience with NetSuite preferred.
  • Experience in ISO 13485 and GMP environment.
  • Detailed knowledge of materials management, regulations, procedures, and records.
  • Experience in reagents-related business; familiarity with planning shelf-life restricted products.
  • Strong team player and self-starter with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The base salary range for this full-time position is $75,000 - $90,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The ranges displayed on each job posting reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries but are subject to change if the leveling of the role is adjusted.
