Lead strategic brand partnerships in a dynamic UK Commercial team, driving growth through smart trading and innovative campaign planning.
We’re the Moonpig Group – home to Moonpig, Greetz, Red Letter Days and Buyagift – and we’re on a mission to make people feel loved, celebrated and remembered. Whether it’s a card that gets them laughing out loud or a gift that makes their day, we help people stay close, no matter the miles. We’re proud to be leading the online gifting revolution, with brilliant products, clever tech and a whole lot of heart. Our platform makes it easy to create moments that matter – packed with personal touches and delivered with care. We’re not just about selling cards or gifts – we’re here to spread joy, spark smiles and make every celebration feel extra special. And with values that guide how we work and support one another, we’ve built a place where people (and ideas) can truly thrive. If you’re looking to make an impact, bring your spark and be part of something meaningful – we’d love to have you on the team. 🌙🐷 We’re looking for an experienced Buyer to join our UK Commercial team and take the lead on some of Moonpig’s most strategically important brand partnerships. Sitting within a small, fast-moving team, this is a role with real ownership - you’ll manage major branded relationships, shape category strategy and unlock growth through smart trading, campaign planning and sharp commercial instincts. You’ll join a tight-knit Buying function during a period of increasing scale and complexity. This is a fantastic stretch opportunity for an established Buyer who wants to drive bigger strategic decisions, build major brands partnerships on our platform and influence the future of the UK gifting category. We work at pace, especially across key seasonal peaks like Valentine’s and Mother’s Day, so you’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can make decisions, move quickly and bring clarity to complex trading moments. Key Responsibilities:
  • Own and grow some of our most strategically important brand partnerships
  • Build seasonal plans and long-term strategies that deliver against sales, profit and customer goals
  • Use trading data, customer insight and market trends to shape ranges, pricing and promotional plans
  • Lead on trading and campaign planning, driving commercial performance across key gifting moments
  • Influence the product roadmap with developments that strengthen Moonpig’s UK gifting proposition
  • Partner closely with marketing, operations and cross-functional teams to land high-impact campaigns
  • Manage supplier relationships end-to-end with confidence and autonomy
  • Represent Moonpig in the market - meeting suppliers, attending trade shows and spotting new opportunities
  • Line manage and support a Buyers Admin Assistant, providing guidance, coaching and clear goals
  • About you:
  • Solid, established experience as a Buyer (ideally with a minimum two years at Buyer level), ideally within multi-brand retail, gifting or similar
  • Strong experience managing branded partnerships and working across multiple categories
  • Highly commercial - able to spot opportunities in data and make confident trading decisions
  • Experienced in campaign planning and trading through seasonal peaks
  • Comfortable bringing structure and clarity in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Confident, autonomous and able to drive your own work forward without needing close oversight
  • Strong communicator with experience influencing senior stakeholders and suppliers
  • Organised, detail-focused and able to balance multiple priorities
  • Background from retailers with multi-brand models is highly desirable
  • You’ll be contracted to our London HQ at Herbal House. While the team typically works 1–2 days in the office each week, you’ll need flexibility to attend when needed - especially during busy seasonal periods or key collaboration moments. Our trading rhythms mean some longer days and occasional weekend work may be required during peak moments of the year (with time given back outside of peak cycles)
