Business Systems Engineer/Analyst

The role bridges the gap between business operations and technical system execution. It is pivotal in designing, implementing, and optimizing cross-functional processes by leveraging internal platforms, system integrations, and automation tools, in collaboration with the Data team. The candidate will work closely with stakeholders in Finance, Sales, Sales Operations, Operations, and Systems to ensure seamless process orchestration across ERP, CRM, and other operational tools as Instagrid scales globally.

In this role, you will bridge business needs and technical execution by translating processes into scalable system solutions and driving cross-functional automation initiatives.

• Gather and document business requirements across departments

• Translate business processes into system specifications (CRM, ERP, Finance, etc.)

• Manage automation projects using internal tools, AI applications, or iPaaS platforms

• Act as the liaison between the Systems, IT, and Data teams

• Lead testing, documentation, and rollout of cross-system solutions

• Identify process improvement opportunities to increase efficiency and data quality

• Support first- and second-level development projects

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience as a Systems Analyst, RevOps Specialist, Systems Developer, or Automation Product Owner

• Strong understanding of, and prior experience working with, Accounting/Finance, Operations, and Sales departments

• Solid knowledge of SaaS ecosystems (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite, HRIS)

• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Celigo, Workato, MuleSoft, Zapier, or internal platforms

• Excellent documentation and stakeholder management skills

• Basic knowledge of programming languages such as C++, JavaScript, Python, SuiteScripts, or Apex

• Comfortable working with data mapping, APIs, and process flow diagrams

• English C1 level is required; German is a plus
