Job Summary:

We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst with a Salesforce focus to partner across departments and drive business process improvements through technology solutions. This role will serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring requirements are clearly defined, solutions are aligned with business objectives, and projects are delivered successfully.

Key Responsibilities

  • Requirements Gathering & Analysis:
    • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to elicit, document, and validate business requirements.
    • Translate business needs into functional specifications for Salesforce and integrated systems.
  • Process Documentation & Design:
    • Document current-state workflows and design future-state processes that align with best practices.
    • Identify gaps and recommend process improvements to optimize efficiency and scalability.
  • Project Lifecycle Support:
    • Assist in planning, execution, and monitoring of Salesforce-related projects.
    • Support testing activities, including test case development, UAT coordination, and defect tracking.
    • Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and business expectations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Guide business teams through key activities and decisions during project phases.
    • Facilitate workshops, demos, and feedback sessions to ensure alignment and adoption.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
    • Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for requirements, processes, and solutions.
    • Provide status updates and communicate risks or issues proactively.
  • Post-Implementation Support:
    • Assist with training, knowledge transfer, and ongoing support for Salesforce solutions.
    • Monitor system performance and user feedback to identify enhancement opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably with Salesforce projects.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce capabilities, data models, and all cloud products.
  • Experience with documenting workflows, requirements, and user stories.
  • Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Business Analyst, or similar).
  • Experience with tools such as ADO and Smartsheet for project tracking.
  • Knowledge of data migration and testing best practices.
