About the Role
At Skypoint, we are building the largest fully integrated software platform for senior living communities, powered by AI-enabled applications that improve resident care, operations, and outcomes. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Business QA Intern to support quality assurance across Skypoint’s enterprise product suite. This is a hands-on, in-office internship ideal for fresh graduates who enjoy validating real-world workflows, testing end-to-end user journeys, and ensuring a high-quality product experience. In addition to manual and automation testing, interns will also have the opportunity to take ownership of small enhancements and fixes, contributing directly to fast-paced product iteration.
Key Responsibilities - Business & Functional QA (Manual + Automation)
Perform business-focused testing of product workflows, user journeys, and functional requirements
Validate business rules, real-world use cases, and customer-facing modules across Skypoint’s integrated applications
Identify functional gaps, edge cases, and inconsistencies in product behavior
Execute smoke, regression, and end-to-end testing prior to releases
Document defects clearly with reproduction steps, expected outcomes, and business impact
Maintain QA checklists and regression coverage to ensure release readiness
Support automation testing by building and enhancing regression suites using tools such as Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress
Assist in integrating automated validation into CI/CD pipelines as the platform scales
Small Enhancements & Fix Ownership
Take ownership of minor product improvements, configuration updates, or small fixes
Work closely with senior engineers to implement and validate enhancements
Ensure changes align with business requirements and quality standards
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering /Computer Science or related fields (2024–2026 graduates)
Strong analytical reasoning, structured thinking, and attention to detail
Basic understanding of: Manual and functional testing concepts
SDLC and Agile development practices
Familiarity with at least one programming/scripting language (Python, JavaScript, Java, etc.)
Ability to test from a business and end-user perspective (not just UI validation)
Good communication skills and collaborative mindset
Preferred / Nice to Have
Exposure to automation frameworks (Playwright, Selenium, Cypress)
Basic knowledge of API testing (Postman) and backend workflows
Prior internship/project experience in QA, automation, or product testing
Interest in healthcare, senior living, or enterprise SaaS platforms
