Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA SCM / LE (Logistics Execution) Consultant to support an ECC to S/4HANA transformation program. The consultant will play a key role in the design, configuration, validation, and deployment of S/4HANA Logistics Execution and Supply Chain solutions aligned with SAP Best Practices and the project’s Global Template approach. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in full-cycle S/4HANA implementations, deep knowledge of end-to-end Logistics Execution and Supply Chain processes, and prior exposure to transformation projects using SAP Activate and implementation accelerators. Experience in cement, building materials, manufacturing, mining, or heavy industries is highly desirable. The resource will work closely with logistics, warehousing, transportation, and distribution teams, as well as with functional, technical, and integration teams, to ensure successful migration, adoption, and stabilization of S/4HANA SCM/LE.

 

Responsibilities and Duties

Responsibilities The SAP SCM / LE Consultant will be responsible for: Leading and facilitating Fit-to-Standard workshops for Logistics Execution and Supply Chain processes. Supporting the design and validation of the S/4HANA Global Template for SCM/LE. Mapping business requirements from ECC to S/4HANA Logistics Execution. Configuring SAP S/4HANA LE according to project standards and best practices, including: Delivery document types and item categories Picking, packing, and shipping processes Route determination and shipment processing Goods movement configurations Handling Unit management Identifying and documenting gaps, RICEFW requirements, and process changes. Collaborating with technical teams on: Interfaces (e.g., third-party logistics, WMS, carriers, MES, or yard systems) Enhancements Conversions Reports and dashboards Supporting data migration activities, including: Open deliveries and shipments validation Handling Units mapping (if applicable) Stock and movement reconciliation Preparing and executing test scenarios: Unit Testing (UT) Integration Testing (IT) User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Providing training support and knowledge transfer to logistics and warehouse teams. Supporting cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities. Working closely with project managers, other functional consultants (SD, MM, EWM, TM, PP, FI/CO), and system integrators to ensure timely delivery. Ensuring alignment with SAP Activate methodology and project governance.

 

Essential Skills

The consultant should have:

  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in SAP SCM / LE.
  • At least 4 full-cycle SAP S4 implementations
  • Proven experience using SAP Activate methodology, including: Fit-to-Standard workshops
  • Best Practices and Starter Systems Configuration and testing using accelerators
  • Strong expertise in core SAP SCM / LE processes and functionalities, including: Delivery Processing (Outbound & Inbound) Picking, Packing, and Shipping Goods Issue (GI) and Goods Receipt (GR) Transportation Planning (basic LE/TM touchpoints) Route Determination and Shipment Processing Handling Units (HU) Management Batch and Serial Number Management (if applicable) Lean WM or Embedded EWM (if in scope)
  • Experience with: Data migration from ECC to S/4HANA (open deliveries, shipments, HU data, etc.)
  • Fiori apps for Logistics Execution and Warehouse Operations Integration with other SAP modules, especially: SD (Order-to-Delivery integration) MM (Inventory Management, Goods Movements) EWM (decentral or embedded, if applicable) TM (Transportation Management, if in scope) PP (production to warehouse integration)
  • Prior experience in industries similar to cement, mining, heavy manufacturing, or industrial sector is a strong plus.
  • Experience working in global or regional rollout programs is preferred.
  • Strong English communication skills (written and spoken).
Additional Comments
This role requires strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and a solid understanding of end-to-end logistics and distribution processes. The consultant should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, multicultural, and geographically distributed environment. Experience with: SAP EWM (Embedded or Decentralized) SAP Transportation Management (TM) Yard Logistics (Yard Management) Barcode/RF scanning solutions is considered an advantage. Prior exposure to large-scale transformation programs and global templates is highly valued. Availability for occasional travel may be required depending on project needs. The consultant should demonstrate a proactive, collaborative, and results-driven mindset.
